GCRC DP-DM FRI-DEBUT

Finally got the Shaft Drive Drift Package Drift Master on track.

CS 3.4 from the shaft drive machine is about the maximum possible without major component change.

I think you will agree that this amount of CONSTANT lock through the corner is only possible with a large amount of CS.

The chassis can hold this kind of angle all day.

If you try this using a stock Drift package the front wheels will be straight 90% of the time. Bine are at 45 degrees when ever I have the car hanging out.

High Speed looks awesome.

low speed equally so.

Big thanks to my photographer.

These images of the 2000GT look amazing, but it's the chassis that makes these images possible. Being able to place the car where it needs to be is the key.

I'm going to enjoy this shaft drive machine.

Ol' School Sunday Sizzle Part 2.

Better check your mirrors, because when this 240Z rocks up behind you, shit gets serious.

I handed over the control to the Drift Master and set about taking shots. I'd already done a couple of hours of this kind of proximity in an awesome session.

The Tamiya 240ZX and Toyota 2000GT were a perfect match.

Constant blasting was fun. I don't mind running the line these days. It's heaps more relaxing that the on/off brake throttle action that happens from the following machine. haha.

Hooking into the sweeper!

Next corner... Yep, he's still there.

Boo yaa! there was a lot of this!

The imagery was awesome too.

Yep, he's still there.

Reversing into the park. time to cool down.

Testing the new body on the Yokomo DRB 3.0x at GCRC Raceway Drift Circuit Evolution

GCRC Super Saturday Slam Session

Wild inside.

Wild Outside. Today I was running both of these, the body mounts are exactly the same position on my DRBs so it was easy to test different tryes and offsets.

Trying all kinds of rims in test mode.

The Silvia is the perfect ride height.

Super low!

I did a short session with the resident Silvia loving staff member, But unfortunatly i forgot to get a pic of our twins.

But I managed some action shots.

Battles everywhere. Big track and small track.

 trying some art.

through the windows.

and again, through the windows.

Slide time.

Light em up!

Getting it done.

GCRC Groovin'

If you haven't been to GCRC, You'd better get your groove on.

I've finished up the 2000Gt, So it was time for the old school battles.  I think we ran about an 30minutes without crashing or clipping each other.

The smaller practice track has been getting a workout recently.

New players. New battles.

Youth in action.

More players in the groove.

I'll have to do a real shoot of this FC DIB soon. I've been trying for weeks to get a good shot.

Even though the body is a fairly simple Yokomo street version it's got some cool little details.

I'll take some statics.

I need to review my photography late at night. Perhaps I'll setup the odd light here and there.

Then I can turn these into crisp images again.

I do like the blur though. I may have sold my 275 chassis and bodies.

But I still get to enjoy them flashing around on this Street Jam R3R ML.

A lot of new chassis builds recently at GCRC from the regulars.

Street Jam R3R front and rear motor, Kazama GP-X and other R31 variants are the favorites right now, but there are some new DIB, JXR, FXX and more on track most days.

Stay tuned for some chassis shots in the next few weeks.

I finished up the details on the 2000 GT. Body Lines and Grill Mesh

Running these Speed Way Pal TE37R makes that modern look and bring the size down on the body.

But I still like the smaller Street Jam rims for older looks.

Lot's of action tonight.

Slot Car Racing.

Off Road Practice.

Drift Battles.
