Broz BASH.

Ive got the Fail Crew S14 pair for bashing, but in some ways they don't match.

So I bought this Kane Kaina built Chaser for some bash festing.

an interesting history on this one. but I went ahead and removed all the windows also and mounted it on the YD2 RX.  Pretty good handling.

A debut for the 86 as well as Jay'z S14.9 with 900 panels

Anyone who builds these bodies with multiple parts gets a tip of the hat.

Simple livery makes it pop and some old speedline rims I supplied finish it off nicely.

 a good session!

remember... alwasy seek permission before dooring the F out of that new pretty body. !!!!

86 Livery Update

When I purchased some BC racing coilovers recently, they came with a sticker set. Let's use them!

I also got some DS racing vented wheel covers... but without purchasing matching wheels... finding wheels with a flat centre still proved difficult

my shelf queen VS KF rims may be good for pics. but not for running.

Image is pretty cool though.

A plain livery matching my real car was always going to get boring. Street cars rarely remain one colour for long.

. Add a bit of chrome metallic pain and viola

A fresh refresh. that works pretty damn well.

a splash of color adds a bot more aggression to the basic silver... Now what about that real car.

FD Battle - Initial D Style

A change in wheel colour keeps the FD visible.

it really helps my old man eyes see what's happening.

Jay... the visually disadvantaged dark boy has to deal with the the hard to see everything.

But the battles were still great.

with an FC and Ae86 adding the initial D vibe, you could say Kyoko, Ryosuke, Keisuke and Takumi out for some fun.

the FDs getting the power mods though and i think they have the advantage over the stock 7 and corolla.

Just a cool vibe.

Pandora FC is a good shape.

matches well with the Tamiya FD

Was fun to have some proximity with the beginners.

Helps them keep the fun for an FD Battle - Initial D Style

RE-Xtreme DRB-REW Comeback

The RE-Xtreme RC  DRB-REW chassis conversion was produced about 8 years ago and I produced close to 50 kits.

The REW is Rear-Wheel-Drive Evolution Weight-Shift and while the high battery helps in this regard.

The main focus was rear traction to keep up with CS cars on the same tyre and create enough steering lock to prevent spinning on the very basic gyros of the day.

Honestly, this was one of the first RWD chassis in this layout that is now pretty standard.

We had near Zero grip on our GCRC polished concrete surface so I needed to get as much of the weight rearward without the too much weight effecting steering.

And also allow the user converting their old chassis with enough flexibility to use whatever conversion parts up front. Wide track, Wipers, Slide racks, Dual Servo, Front Mount Servo, Middle servo, left right. etc.

So when a friend bought this back into our group, I was excited to see what components were used.

Wrap up next recommended items and alloy y arms with OD extended ball ends give this a great amount of lock. and not much bump steer.

I offered to help another friend who acquired a set of chassis plates that had been produced by Bezerk RC directly. (you can still get them) albeit without screws etc.

So this is the multi-piece set that spins your chassis and opens up the front.

All my DRBs were converted much like this one although this one holds a challenge without the type 2 front uprights.

I think I got this pretty close to a working machine but there's a few key items this one needs to loose it's true CS like a Diff/Spool and some front knuckles.

These chassis still perform very well with a few friends still hounding my tuned YD2s.

Still proud i put in the efforts.

RE-Xtreme Demi More FD @ Broz Debut

Time to debut the DEMI Works More FD

and there may be many more.

Jay's black machine was built at the same time and his style looks great also.

I now have the Blue FD3s on the Yd2 ZX and the Yellow on the YD2 RX

FD nerds will notice some Knight Sports inspired Vents to match the Origin Labo style body lines of the demi works kit.

The yellow car really highlights the lines. GT wing and GT mirrors add that Pan Speed Demo Car feel.

I settled on older Top Line N-Model 5 spoke in Pink +12 rear and +8(+1.5spacer) front

I have VSkf Also. So I may run some to match Jay at some point.

A great day... I loaned the Blue car to Mark for a run. Video here
