F.Dorsche WIP

WTF is this. ???

Here is the plan... and Inspiration.

It's UGLY like a mullet that's for sure, but somehow it still pulls off wild. I cut the body down to the polycarb limit and trimmed the skirts like side diffusers and the front splitter is much deeper.

Wheels are +9 offset RC wheels. And rears are +4 spacers. (maybe remove)

You can see a bit of crazy stance here.

And here. RWB is the inspiration for this and as all their cars have a name, this one may get "Kingyo's Affair"
The story of a goldfish and it's birth from the RX7 and Porsche Cross breeding.

Here I have the car on +6 Advan RS-D, I shall see which wheels I want to run after the body graphics go on.

Soon.

LM Update

New wheels for another car means crazy cool updates.

This is a HPI 200mm body with widebody extensions and 4mm rear axles and custom 9mm miester S1

Deep doesn't come close. I modified the rear for the double diffuser

Still a great looking body. These sit on the shelf a lot recently as my hack body still looks good..

RC F.Dorsche

I finally got the RE-Amemiya D1 M7 FD bodyshell.

And I'm adding some fat miesters with +9 offset. including +4 rear axles

I already have some deep stretch tyres that will create stance and luckily the yokomo body is a bit oversize on this one already. Should be awesome.

I got a bit of a discount from my friend at Drift-Max in Akiba. If you guys come to Japan on holiday he really is the best. Always has the latest.

The wheels look ok on the LM version, but I have some crazy plans for this one.

Stay tuned as the F.Dorsche comes alive.

T&E Advan RS-D

Whats black, has 10 spokes and deep dish.

Ueno's T&E Vertex RC Advan RS-D wheels.

Quite expensive seeing as the competition for cheap rubbish has arrived in Japan.

they look good on all my RC bodies. Not sure about these speed way pal tyres yet, but I guess we shall try them out.

Hpi Wheel Holders

Finally some organisation. instead of 32 round things floating around in my box, now theres only 8.

300 yen for these basic items makes life easy.

They have a spring on one end. push down and hold. the slide the end straight and the wheels fly off the shaft.

Benri desu.!!! thats easy.

Shoot to Kill.

Here's a little shoot I did today when practicing.

This body still is the one I use most. and the Work XC8 Wheels with HPI are also the best for handling.

My setup is not super dollar. Just the basics.

But the image is bold. speedhunters.com sticker on my real car. 1/10 looks small.

Here's a little video... Lowriding.

RP-01 Carbon

Ok, My real car has RP-01, so I decided to replicate the future direction.

I'll be painting the real wheels black. So I found these Tamiya re-inforced Carbon RP-01 for 500 yen

I got a set of 45 degree Street Jam rubber to try out. I'll be going for some stretch.

The dummied up result is awesome. Can't wait to try them out tomorrow.

Whats the Diff?

This is a new Speed Way Pal diffuser!!! iTS AWESOME.

$7 or so, but sooo much better than the ABC Hobby Lexan one.

Now, I can pick up the chassis by the diffuser, the other one was always going to break off.

Bolts straight onto the rear of Yokomo Dift Package chassis

Hard to see in this image, but it's there. Swapped some wheels around.

Doesn't quite fit with the Wide body mazdaspeed rear bar, but it may get cut to accomodate the new item.
Or I'll just leave it on the display chassis forever.

Limited Space track design

With limited space. Most drift tracks end up looking basically the same.  This is due to the requirement for side by side and radius corners.

Shafted one way

Can't wait to stick my new shaft in.

It's in,

Very different. Gotta get used to it.

I might go to Akiba on Friday to test it out and spend a bit of time on setup.
