Time to add some sleepy lights.

I sold this Pandora FD a while back, but the new owner felt it needed the 1/2 height sleepy conversion.
This originally became popular with a product from Japanese maker "Pivot". You could turn a dial and set the height from slightly open to fully open. Here is my old car..

So here is a little tutorial. Cut out the lights with a very very sharp scalpel blade. Get some Yokomo buckets and cut the back off.

You need to do this because the OEM lights don't open right from the back. this allows the light covers to appear as mazda intended.

Making sure both sides are the same is pretty easy. tape and goo.
Now the owner can add some lights for illumination.
