Shopping Part 1

Shopping in Tokyo... Had to get some new rims.

Well old is new.

some of these designs are getting old now.

I needed some M chassis drift tyres for an old project so Tamiya + Spice solved that. .

A small MX5 will wear these.

These DRS5 were a good find in Pr Shop Futaba but actually the RC scene is going through all kinds of uncertainty.

With only Super Rajicon having a serious drift selection in Akiba. Tam Tam's selection is all but small but minicars there are awesome. Futaba still supports the racing guys and general radio control goods.

A couple of small shelves these days holds the whole range on offer.

With spares and tuning parts for older chassis all but out of stock on shelves. manufacturer order only. Wrap Up next holds the answers for modifications for these owners with conversions and suspension arms and parts still in production.

Yokomo YD2 really has the market sewn up for drift, and they work. the YD2SX II is amazing.

What took me back was the selection of tamiya and kyosho. It was like I was in my fathers shop again from 30 years ago.

I owned all of these brand new but i wasn't that nostalgic to pick one off the shelf.
A few sets of wheels and a couple of small turnbuckes and ball ends were all i needed.
