Pandora 180 + Andromeda II

pick a colour. ? 

orange gold to purple blue green. it's all there. 

Under lights and on track are a bit different

RC drift QLD is a dark space. so you get the Andromeda Galaxy feel. 

Mostly blue and purple on track.  

Still cool!

But it doesn't "PoP" that much. 

YD2 had to run massive camber to get the wheels under so performance was somewhat under rated, but still able to drive around the setup. 

fun times. 

Same can be said for tamiya paints. you really need the sun for these colours.

yes indeed. thats bright. 

Shibatta GR86 is a thing.

Still 95% of the performance.

Almost ready for a debut

it took a while to get the look I was after. 

period correct with a slightly modern taste. 

Ganador mirrors and a 3d wing, mounted mid to low. Top Line - Hayate rims will debut.  

a cannon exhaust completes the rear. 

 and up front a Yokomo style intercooler

Pandora Andromeda 180sx

Is it ready... Almost. Its been a long journey.

As always mask and paint takes time. But there was some extra time here. The base coats for the colour and backing paint needs a long time. 

And as it turns out it could have had even longer. I would recommend leaving this Show Up PC Binder process for Days. Even though the recommended hours were observed. 

It just doesn't dry long enough to stick.  

The Andromeda II colour is amazing. 

Its got soo much fleck in there. Deep Montego Blue / Green + Purple + Orange and Gold   

The gold and orange are really at eye level. 

Mostly its Blue Green / Purple. 

First Peel. 

Different light directions. 

Waiting to dry and trying wheels. 

Then some attachments. Shoo goo doesn't like this either. even after a week of drying.  some paint lift already. Just don't crash.  

So on to the shelf. 

Ganador and Assembly - Wing to come. 

Now it is mounted. so it's not long now. 

Wheelbase is short and body is narrow. so lots of camber and tuck. 

 

EVO Evolution

 

Slowly the Evo X is getting more of everything

Its still a mixed use machine. Doing carpark thrash and drift cool indoors. 

I added the roof scoop, antenna, front splitter and did some colour on the calipers. 

Starting to look balanced
