Here is what I have leftover.... Almost enough to complete an Imadoki conversion.
Front oneway and rear spool (rear bearing? where did it go?)
The rear gear box also missing the inner input shaft bearing. where did it go?
But I have the main parts. An Ima doki conversion maybe a good donor.
front type B 10 deg and DPM knuckles. one of them has scarring on the inside.
front CVDs are good. But there are no wheel bearings.
Upper arm is using OTA- style turnbuckle.
rear is using dog-bones. I also have these +6mm TN racing axles. good for HPI bodies with the wider rear.
2 sets of hubs. no sus pins. :(
HPI shocks snap on to the mounts which is good.
Full HEX chassis screw set.
that ugly spur. Its a bit damaged. But the big missing item is the motor mount.
perhaps it could be turned into a mount. for my spares Spare springs.
Spare arms. Steering is from SSG Stage 3 conversion. Maybe it could work in an Imadoki.
front gear case upper tower mount is stripped. would need drilling and a bolt on the rear. no drama.
but it's not too far off. bumper mounting plate is missing. These are 5mm posts on the front. not 4mm.
What to do? Hmm. Imadoki conversion might get most of what I need, chassis, Motor Mount and newer steering components.
I went to the trouble of working out a possible completion path with Yen prices without discounts.

If I used an Imadoki conversion to complete I'd be up for $240
it's fun to dream.
You can possibly even save some more money and go for a Ject Racing Triple Converter Mars conversion :P
ReplyDeleteI believe maker price is 13,650 jyp opposed to 18,000 jyp Imadoki conversion.
Ject would be nice.
ReplyDeleteImadoki is usually around 15200Yen
I'm thinking.
