Sunday Slitheren

GCRC! THE place to slide.

Sometimes GCRC is dead serious with mm perfect drifting lap after lap.

Sometimes there are a few mistakes.

With a few cameras around today, I didn't take many pictures. But I still managed to capture the quality.

Proximity... Check
Speed... Check
Angle... Check
Style.... Checkity Chechk Check.

There will be some awesome shots coming of My balck and white one eighty and the RX3...

RWD action mixed in

But the High CS machines are still ripping it up.

Again... Gemini / Escort Battles were destroying themselves... But Oh the Joy...

Maybe Just one more slide before Xmas.

But New year projects are many.

Saturday Premier Battles

When the premium drift ticket is on the card... stand back, it's getting mental.

With everyone else out buying $2 xmas presents, the hard core are still attacking the concrete.

3.0+ CS requires a different setup but there are still many different ways to achieve the same result. It took a few laps to dial the Strret Jam Rear Motor and the Yokomo DRB to the same handling range, but then it was on!

I had countless laps within the 2centimeter zone on on the b pilar and the 2mm zone in transition. Shit was off the chart...

Of course I can't take pictures when I'm driving.  I need a cameraman.

But it wasn't only two in this tango...   Many laps on line through the tight route.

I think I picked up the camera for about 3 laps. and still managed to click off nice images.  Such is the premium drift.

This DRB is a new entry to GCRC. The Kazama S15 is an awesome shape too.

Implementing a few tricks to get relatively low CS 1.8 looking right.

Freight Training

Everywhere you look, there's a battle going on. Yes, even in the car park.

The Escort and Gemini and hammering GCRC!

Nothing but Full Throttle and Full Brake

Sometimes you get another playmate.

But there's always others lurking.

Having their own battles with similar machinery.

Close indeed!

Love this shot! Light em up!

Sometimes you might find a space for another car... But it's not often.

 Usually it's like this.

Or this.

Or this... Attack is the only option.

Sometimes you can pick a spot and try your angles.

And simply go for that line.

The aggressive line is always the exciting one.

GCRC Midweek Munch!

Moolman in action.

Not very often we see the faceless S13 in action.

But sometimes he comes out to play.

It looks awesome in action.

Always runs stripped.

The MST XXX-D Shaft drive is a very decent chassis.

With the wide track up front, it can look a little gangley at times, but it's actually much lower than it looks.

The GPX-R Ninja has moved to another Master.

But will continue down the dark path for a while.

180SX Twin 2?

Deep Dish 180SX in a cool style.

the main difference between these 2 bodies is the paint.

It's amazing how different they look with paintwork.

Ben's Copper/Orange with black bumpers is a stark contrast to my white version.

Looking tall and short. with the eyes focussed on the single colour body and side skirt.

Centrally mounted exhausts are ample.

Pandora's 180SX with Origin Labo body kit is a very nice shape.

Can take originality in loads.

Shooting in sun is always shows different colour.

Anyway, time for a few laps.

It was fun drifting with another similar machine.

Give space to the new body!
