GCRC Drift Boss Part#3 - Battle!

Rev it up... Dump the clutch, Let's go!

Maximum attack!

There is no second chance.

Battles were too many to remember really.

A few hours of door to door.

Follow as close as you can.

Thats the way it's done.

Line emulation is what the man wants to see.

Slide in deep.

 Slide in deep.

Change direction,

Flick and hold.

While all these shots were in battles, for the camera at this focal length, proximity must be close... Very close.

Old vs New. 86 Battle Zone.

Damn this R31 looks good on camera. Even if it is blurry.

Hopefully some edits will be coming our way.

Because there was some amazing action.

Perhaps the battle of the day was decided by the tiniest things. When battles are this close. Emulating Line is guaranteed.

Warm up runs... I think we need ten!

My 180-sx looking the business... disco distraction lights ablaze!

S-Chassis Battles are indeed special.

I don't remember the battles today. I just remember being very very close.

Diving into the first corner... you have to commit.

Lights ablaze, Adapting to the battle partners speed and line is a little different. setups can vary greatly.

Here's that Sexy R31 again...

Another very very close battle. Through my lens, this one went the other way... But hey. I'm glad I don't make the decisions.

Either way... tight!

You can see the progressions here.

As the cars have more battles to the top.

The purple machine out of sight.

3rd match went to the orange.

So... we somehow ended up with a father / son final. Starting at opposite sides of the draw. It was always a possibility.

Again it was tight. Showing off the rewards of countless hours circulating at GCRC.

It wasn't tiny mistakes that determined the win today... it was consistency.

You have to approach each battle with a fresh mind and I think most importantly enjoyment.

Enjoying the rewards!

Sir Charles. The GCRC Drift Boss!

GCRC Drift Boss #2 - Qualify.

Clipping zones, speed and style. Try your best.

It's not an easy task to get the right line. My weapon for today was my 180sx. No, It can't get any lower.

Some others also looking very impressive.

I can't actually remember who did what today.

When you spend most of it looking through the lens, you have to catch up on what happens later.

All I know is this looks awesome.

There are a few danger zones, the end of this wall, definitely stopped me a couple of times. Others getting it perfect.

Focus in the forest! Cool!

in the slide zone!

Mustang was looking good.

Isuzu Bellett has a great presence. I'd love to run my Gemini with this.

Photography was a group effort where my car is concerned.

S14 with a real rocket bunny attached.

EVO 10 always looks cool!

in the groove.

R31... Square but cool.

Slide by.

Flame on gentlemen!

86 on FIRE!

The Second focus cruising nicely.

This is what it takes for the maximum attack. Live on the wall! That's the out clip.

An that's an in clip! Takumi Fujiwara would be very proud!

Both of these drivers are in the "Youth" category.

The end of this wall donates another in clip. Attack it if you dare!

Top Qualifier. # 6 JZX100

Super Smooth!
