RC Drift QLD Session

 

It's been a while since I drove with some ol' friends

Although almost ten years have passed. A certain familiarity returned. 

The YD-2 might need some maintenance and a few changes to get it super speed competitive. But as long as I can just rip a good line up front. everything is fun.

I spent a lot of time talking and driving. 

But I did manage to get a couple of shots with Dagul's JZX100

The RC Drift QLD garage looks great

My Addiction FD still looks scale.

With the interior completing the effect.

RC Drift QLD Catchup

 

Old is as new. Testament to those that don't crash too often. 

New is New. Tyrone's Blue Supra is addiction and the black is MST. Definitely the addiction body is more scale. with sharper edges and not as flat. 

My black beast hides a lot of bash. 

The rear getting the chop in a couple of spots. one for aero flow and the other for ESC "rear radiator" fitment. 

Enter another Supra. Driftline's A90 coming together with some custom cut stickers. 

had to line up the boys.

BROZ Check

This was a chance to test a few things. I was playing with ackerman on the YD2Plus.

 Jay was helping pace the change with the Masao Minowa Chaser.

 

good looking "Masao body". read that as intended.

Time for some fail crew action. Looks good with white wheels. I installed this on the YD2 RX. 

I also adjusted some throttle curve to make the power application a bit less tricky. Results were very stable.  

Jay also gauged this in his YD2 SX3 (basically the same chassis)

I think both have strong points. 

so now it's all preference. 

my YD2 plus still has the dynamics and punch. but the RX is super smooth.
