Sunday Light makes Sunday Right

I love these shots where the cars melt into the backlight.

Bright back light. Bright Headlights... "I'm coming through!"

The Shed Diorama.

Work on "The Shed and the Sled" continues

Small updates. Big impact

Hey There!

Been doing a little work on the shed. It's coming together nicely.

Going to be a great little spot for some pictures. It will be lighted also.

Once the wall cladding is complete, the next step will be to get the dirt/grass mix happening.

Well, the walls are up and it's starting to take shape... so the diorama dilemma is

Finish the 86 or finish the shed??

Which is first,

Tsunami Warning!

When this machine is on track... The Tsunami is a real threat.

It approaches with speed and destroys everything in it's path.

You had better run!

Run!

As fast as you can!

Approaching.

Awesome angle from the Street Jam BANSHEE!

There is a little bunny on the back... Will he survive.

Noone is safe.

So all are traveling at MAX speed!

Trying to get away from the carnage.

...

Although this is a bit of fun, as I wrote the above and when I compiled this ghosted image, it had a bit of an emotional connection. Tsunami has a special meaning to me. It's a strong reminder to the massive impact on Japan just a few years ago.

A lot of us at GCRC have a real love for the Japanese car scene and know someone directly or indirectly effected by the Tsunami. We still have a real support for the Japanese Original Equipment Manufacturers that continue to create.

This above shot is dedicated to those RC Drifters who are missed from the northern Japan region. Forever Remembered.

GCRC Take One!

Yep... Tonight was Amazing.

The mods to the RX3 must be cosmetic only or the old guy in the 45 year old Gemini has tuned the gemini a little!

Yes... 13b PP and a stripped bare lightweight might be enough to battle a grunty ER34.

The tow hook should be enough to tell it means business. Surely.

Thanks everyone for the long and short trains and one on one battles.

I was having a ball chasing and being chased.

Next week, the gem might get it's coppertone brother battle partner.

but until then there's no shortage of challengers. A huge thanks to my photographer.  I'm scarcely lucky to get shots of my cars in action.

And others also get some great shots too.

EA Sports.... Responsible for a lot of cool people with the Need For Speed.

With the next round of the GCRC Drift Competition coming on November 30. The level is very high across the board. Get down and get some more practice in. I think I need it.

FD3s of course.

Getty busy like a bumble B

I used to own an NC Roadster, While it was tuned, it was nothing like this. Funny thing though... that car was sold in 2011 and this car was in the build way back then.

Top Fuel S2000! White Lightening with fluid wind tunnel tested lines flowing beautifully over the skin..

US boys looked like bolt on bolt ons on top of bolt ons. Effective maybe, but I can't imagine the Skybox having the slipperiest profile.

I so want to rip the sickers off this machine.

Drift Kat.

In Japan, RE-Amamiya ran in the GT 300 class. This car is now much quicker than the Super GT car ever was. Even hindered by a full RX7 Chassis and low profile Sport tyres.

On the pulse.

love the rear overhang on this astra.

Still more to see.
