MST A90 RB Block - Build

Welcome to the A90 Supra Ken Block Tribute.

Starting as a MST A90. The simplicity is the one piece body.

A set of 19" MST Advan Style GT. Originally I wanted to do an Advan livery.

Cut and ready

Test fit for size. Cool. Don't need to change anything.

one custom item. RE-ART Bonnet vent on the rear

Replaced the black mounts for Red.

Red theme.

Colour time. One piece body. One colour... Well some grey also.

Monster style... Light Buckets are just using the stock parts.

Ken Block Livery starts to come together.

Green Wheels? Maybe.

Final mount and ready for some action.

Broz New Year Battles

Welcome to 2023.

A trip to "Broz" for a skills check.

Machine is the YD2 RX which is definitely my current favourite.

I spent many a lap chasing and being chased by Mr Cool S13 full detailed replica.

I swapped to yokomo 6 spoke rims for the first time. I've had these wheels for so long but never run them.

Under the S13 is actually my old Overdose / Wrap Up next Drift Package. Still ripping.

The FD may receive an external paint job. not liking the blue at the moment. Flat black or matt yellow may be the go.

I tried to take some pics with my 14 year old Canon DSLR. it's on it's last legs. the screen is black at the edges. some of the lenses don't auto focus anymore. Martin and I both struggled with pics.

but we still managed a few.

YD-2 x2 @ BROZ 2022 Final

Small gathering to end the year.

Shout out to Steve for keeping the QLD RC drift scene alive and well.

Some great street battles.

Today was the first time i bought new tyres in many years. and what a difference.

Definitely good fun playing with the extra grip . MST Silver is good match for the surface

Photos missed the 99% door on door action. My YD2-"REX" is still finding it's sweet spot.

there was a lot of pushing.

The YD2 RX (blue FD3s) is now performing very well indeed.

Putting the controller down to take pics. I was mostly "Burrowed Deep" in between the fail crew. I didn't intentionally leave my shell at home.

It' good when you see these together. or alone.

RE--YD2-RX Drops @ BROZ!

So how does the pre built and pre-setup RX drive... Different and Awesome!

Mounted under the CA* S14, Just as you'd expect, traction is premium. definitely the focus of the RX in on moving forward with rear squat. But even at decent angle, the drive overcomes the front grip deficit.

Transitions... they do come a little slower with the weight behind the rear wheels, but you can swing from big angle to big angle with a smooth confidence.

Hang time is real.

I look forward to playing with the motor position a little and trying a new body next year.
