Make some stickers...?

I usually start with something like this.

After designing the artwork on PC I print and cut. It works out about 300 yen for an A4 sheet.

But when you can get these faceless stickers for 10 bucks why even bother. I guess one of my FC3s will wear these D-MAC NFS stickers.

This is something you can't stop.

Protecting the front of your pristine body is essential. This is a good solution. $5 well spent.

These will be used on my 280ZX in the build for fender screws. they are tiny!

These will be used on an FC RX-7 build. I didn't pay full price for anything recently. most of these things were about 20% of retail value.

So why not get the one's you use such a small amount of. rear lights.

But these I will use for the Pan speed FC livery!

Japanese Sticker Trade

Recently I've met a lot of people in the RC drift scene. The language barrier is sometimes hard for me in Japan but I try my best to communicate, but one thing always brings a smile. Sticker swap!

These are my sheets, the large size is usually the size most people swap in Japan. but the small size is probably more realistic for 1/10 scale. A bit hard to read though.

My plotter/cutting machine for vinyl can do a pretty small size but it's painfully tedious at this size.Smaller items are best inkjet printed. But of course we all know white is a problem on transparent media. A combination is best.

If you run with me, you might get one of these.

I'm getting a few from others these days too.

Max One Battle Zone

Today, I went to Max One for what was meant to be a short time, but I end up staying 4 hours quite often recently. The guys are cool to run with.

I did a LOT of side by side today. 5 full batteries of close battle action with the TA-06 and DRB. My opponents were Drift package & TA-06 mainly of various spec. A lot of fun!  13bt blog TANOSHIII!

The TA-06 with Double X really is cool! It's very easy to drive and a great battle machine.

I love these Watanabe in Gold.

Tekki-san's TA-06 was purchased with the Ferrari 599XX body, Maybe I should have done the same, because it's COOL!

If you've never seen a Ferrari Drift on Work Emotion CR-KAI, This is about as close as you'll get.

Needs to go to the car wash though.

Later I switched to the DRB and new Speed Way Pal drift Master Rims.

I like the bronze contrast on this body.

Forgive the lack of pictures, but the three way yokomo DRB vs Dori Package drift battles were good today.

As I was almost ready to leave. The CARBON MASTER came into max one. D-HELL!

How cool does this Subaru STI look on the street.

But the M Chassis based Roadster is amazing. Carbon wrap is used on the bonnet and the rear trunk and spoiler. Great contrast although there isn't much contrast at all. Light and Texture. I love it.

Interior on this one is special. The dash lights are illuminated in orange and the driver has a chrome helmet for awesome effect.

I gave it a little photo-shoot. I'm a big NB fan, so this looks awesome.

Detail is great. bonnet catches are a new product on offer from Wrap up. (website).

he also had another subaru in white with black highlights.

White or black. Carbon effect impact can't be ignored. Monster tuning stickers are a great highlight.

Lighting is the key.

MA X X One Seven

And there is no denying that the Celica XX is simply off the rack! Was a good outing.



It was an interesting evening. This body took a little adjustment to get working well on the DRB. It didn't start out with these rims, but I like these white rims as they have great contrast.

I didn't have time to install a light set into this one for max one and the black rims simply didn't provide good visibility.

The result was a few runs a bit too close to the wall.

Although damage is realistic, unfortunately it's not desirable. I had a spare set of stays luckily.

I did try and run the car without a wing but I don't like wingless FD. The narrow rear just doesn't match.

Anyway, After I was finished with the DRB and it's new LiPo setup, I turned my attention to the TA-06 and the Celica XX which always gets the same reaction. COOL! Only today it looked on another level. I had silver rims also but the gold simply accentuate the car's other colours. Especially well with the purple green sections.

Everyone at Max One had their TA-06 out today. but some handle very differently to others. Mine, I will say is very good, but I feel it has a little too much over-steer and needs more weight up front. It changes direction a little too fast right now with the NiMh and the rear motor and as so, needs adjustment.

I'm so glad I got the driver inside also. It just looks right. I might need to hook up some LED for the rear Star Lights though. That will place the COOL on another Level again. I had to trim the front quite a lot today though as the front posts i had unfortunately cut one hole too short, but actually it looks better, but it scrapes from time to time.

Casa de Dos Equis

Surging Celica Supra SA60 XX + Speed Way Pal display interior makes a home. Casa de Dos Equis

Recently, I hate taking pictures without a driver in the car. It just doesn't look realistic. I had this Speed Way Pal interior I use at home on the shelf to display some cars, but I though it would fit in the Supra on the TA-06. And... it does!

I had to chop a few things near the back seat to clear the spur etc, but basically its looking good.

I also changed the TA-06 rear mount to a yokomo-ish position. I found a VDF rear carbon support super cheap the other day, a few holes and a but of shaping later.

Bingo. All my bodies can now be swapped. (to a point.) Yokomo 4mm and Tamiya stupid 5mm posts are the only issue. I'll be changing the Tamiya posts soon.
