FD Asamoto - Update #3 Panel

This project is looking better day by day. I'm loving the results but not the effort!

I'm slowly working my way forward. Rear bumper ON! Wing ON! Side skirts ON! Rear Fender extensions ON!

Tonight I will tackle the dilemma of the front facer. theres'a few cuts and bends to be manicured.

Wish me luck.

  1. Greetings! I've been a big fan of your work! I'm also a rotary lover myself! I wonder, how do you attach parts to bodies? Like the rear flares on this FD. I've always used shogoo because it can take an impact but it's messy and your bodies look so clean. Whats your secret?
    Cheers mate.

    1. Shoe goo and tape.

make sure you tape the fenders on so the shoe goo can't penetrate the cracks.

      Just care in application.

If it's two flat sections, use clothes pegs. not too much force to deform anything. just enough to clamp
